EFFICIENT SECONDARY SHREDDING FOR RDF PRODUCTION

MOLA Meteor single-shaft shredders are designed for the efficient secondary size reduction of pre-shredded materials in RDF production.
The series processes plastics, films, waste wood, packaging and other combustible fractions, producing a controlled output size of 10–100 mm for downstream separation, conveying and fuel preparation.

A robust cutting system, powerful drives and adjustable cutting clearance ensure consistent shredding performance. Square knives with four usable cutting edges provide extended service life, while the same knife design is used on the rotor, counter-knife beam and scraper to simplify maintenance and reduce spare-parts requirements.

Easy-to-service screen cassettes allow the output size to be adapted to specific material and process requirements.
